Revealing the Clubhouse

A Warm Welcome

Visitors are made extremely welcome at a Club that can trace its roots back to 1891. Conveniently located a few minutes from one of England’s finest medieval towns, Shrewsbury Golf Club offers both low and high handicappers a highly enjoyable test of golf against the glorious backdrop of the Shropshire Hills.

High Quality Course

The Club has invested heavily in the course and the results are some challenging and attractive holes, culminating in excellent greens that reward the well stroked putt. Front and back nines are quite different, but the inviting mix will leave you well satisfied with a 6000-yard track that includes three par 5s, ten par 4s and five par 3s.

The Club also boasts a well-stocked Pro Shop and excellent practice ground where you can hone your short game, as well as strike all the irons in the bag from grass lies. Completing the practice facilities is a well-manicured putting green, ensuring there are no excuses for being under-prepared for the challenge Shrewsbury has to offer!

Excellent Hospitality

The Clubhouse retains many of the traditional features of the original 19th Century building. A convivial atmosphere is guaranteed both before and after your game with snacks or full menu available throughout the day.

After completing your round, relax on the clubhouse lawn, in the spike bar or in the spacious lounge with view of the 18th green. Great hospitality and great ambience – ingredients that will ensure you complete your day at Shrewsbury Golf Club with a smile on your face.
