THIS INCLUDES A PARTIAL ENTRANCE FEE AND MEMBERS WHO JOIN NOW WILL PAY AN EXTRA £50 ON TOP OF THE NORMAL SUBSCRIPTIONS IN 2009 AND 2010
THE £50 ON THE CHARGE CARD AND COUNTY AND EGU FEES ARE ALSO PAYABLE
Shrewsbury Golf Club is a private members club governed by the rules agreed in general meeting.
Members pay an annual subscription that has been approved for the year beginning 1st January 2008 at £520.00 for full members.
In addition to this each member pays a levy to the Shropshire County Union and the English Golf Union.
There is a requirement to spend £50 in the clubhouse each year and a card system operates.
The total cost of membership is £577.75.
Under the current rules members returning to the club and junior members becoming seniors do not pay an entrance fee.
Junior membership is encouraged by the club and the annual subscription is £75.00
The junior section is supervised by a qualified and experienced junior organiser who has been approved by the committee.
The club has arrangements in place with Fairway Credit a finance company who enable members to pay their fees monthly.
